Supplemental Privacy Policy for Ticket/Badge Holders and Applicants

Effective March, 2020

This Supplemental Privacy Policy governs the information collection and use practices of Augusta National, Inc. ('ANI') regarding tickets/badges ('Tickets') for the Masters Tournament, Augusta National Women's Amateur Championship and/or Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals ('Tournaments'). ANI and entities that control, are controlled by, or are affiliated with ANI are collectively referred to herein as 'we,' 'us' or 'our.' Ticket Applicant, Ticket holder, and other users of Tickets are collectively referred to herein as 'you,' 'your,' or 'Patron.' Our Website Privacy Statement, available at Masters.com, ANWAgolf.com and drivechipandputt.com (the 'Site'), describes information we collect at the Site and at any other website operated by us or any third party. The purpose of this Supplemental Privacy Policy is to provide more specific disclosures that specifically relate to our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing information about you with respect to your application for and use of Tickets. In the event of a conflict between this Supplemental Privacy Policy and the Website Privacy Statement, the specific terms of this policy take precedence, but only with respect to the use of Tickets.

Please read our Ticket Policy, our Website Privacy Statement, and this Supplemental Privacy Policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, including this Supplemental Privacy Policy, you will not be eligible to receive or use Tickets. By accepting or using the Tickets, you agree to this Supplemental Privacy Policy, and any other relevant additional privacy policies we provide. This Supplemental Privacy Policy may change from time to time (see Changes to Our Supplemental Privacy Policy). Unless you notify us otherwise, ANI will consider any subsequent use of the Tickets by you as your consent to any changes to the Supplemental Privacy Policy.

1. CHANGES TO THE SUPPLEMENTAL PRIVACY POLICY

The Masters Films ESPN+ will offer the full collection of Official Films, featuring a one-hour recap of each Masters Tournament from 1960-2019. 1960-2019 Exclusively on ESPN+.

Please note that we may change this Supplemental Privacy Policy from time to time by mailing or emailing an updated version of the Supplemental Privacy Policy to you at an address you provide to us. It is your obligation to review this Supplemental Privacy Policy when it has been mailed/emailed to you. If the changes are significant, we will provide a prominent notice. Your use of the Tickets following any such notice will signify and constitute your assent to and acceptance of the revised Supplemental Privacy Policy.

2. THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT

'Personally Identifiable Information' is identifiable information about an individual person, as more particularly described under applicable privacy laws, such as a name, address, email address, and birth date.

We may collect and retain any information, including Personally Identifiable Information, provided from you to us when you communicate with us, or apply for, pay for, and/or receive Tickets, including when you:

  • Submit an application for Tickets;
  • Update your Ticket application;
  • Pay for Tickets; and
  • Communicate with us, such as to provide feedback, request support, or ask for additional information.

In order to apply for, pay for, and/or receive Tickets, you are required to provide Personally Identifiable Information, such as your name, phone number, birthdate, payment information, and address, as well as other contact information. You acknowledge that any information you provide through the Ticket application process (including information about anyone you allow to hold or use the Ticket and about the Ticket location and use on and around ANI property) is/was provided voluntarily, and you represent and warrant that you have all necessary consents to provide all such information.

Tickets provided by ANI contain Radio-frequency identification (RFID) technology. In order to receive any Tickets offered by ANI, you consent to ANI tracking the location of the Tickets through RFID readers. ANI may link RFID serial numbers to Ticket serial numbers and ultimately in some instances to Personally Identifiable Information that you have provided to ANI. You may refuse to consent to the tracking of the location of the Ticket; however, doing so will result in your ineligibility to receive Tickets and/or ANI revoking your existing Ticket rights. If you refuse such consent in advance of the use of the Tickets, ANI will reimburse you for any monies paid for the revoked Tickets upon the return of the Tickets to ANI.

3. HOW WE USE THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU AND TICKETS

ANI may use and process the information it collects for the purpose of implementing, administrating and managing the Tournaments, and otherwise operating our business as described below:

Operate and Support our Sites. ANI uses the Personally Identifiable Information you provide to us (i) for our business purposes, such as establishing and managing your customer account, providing products and services you request (such as processing and shipping orders, and sending order and shipping confirmations), processing and collecting payments; (ii) to provide customer support, and to send you important administrative communications regarding the Tournaments; (iii) to evaluate and improve our business, including developing new products and services and analyzing the effectiveness of products, services, and the Masters Tournament; and (iv) to comply with applicable legal requirements, to enforce our policies and terms of service, and to protect you, the Tournaments, and ANI, against error and fraud.

Improving and Evolving our Services. We constantly evaluate and improve the Tournaments and services provided during the Tournaments, including developing new products or services, and use the information we gather to do so. We may use or disclose your information to perform data analysis, including market and consumer search, trend analysis, demographic analysis, and financial analysis.

Other Contacts. We may contact you through telephone, mail, or email for other purposes, as permitted by law.

Improving, Evolving and Protecting the Tournament Experience. ANI may use RFID tags and scanners to track Ticket locations in and around ANI property; to determine vehicle and traffic flow patterns and patron travel flow patterns; and to track and monitor Ticket use and attendance.

4. WHEN AND HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION

We only share information about you as described or permitted by the Website Privacy Statement and this Supplemental Privacy Policy, unless you consent to other sharing. We may share information about you in the following ways:

Third Party Service Providers. We may employ independent contractors, vendors, and suppliers (collectively, 'Outside Contractors') to provide specific services and products related to ANI and the Tournaments, including, without limitation, for security, site control, crowd control, traffic control, Ticket control, hospitality operations, vending, payment processing, mailing, web hosting, technical support, and legal advice. In the course of providing products or services to us, these Outside Contractors may receive access to information collected from you, including your Personally Identifiable Information. These Outside Contractors may need information about you in order to perform their functions. These Outside Contractors are contractually bound not to use the information we share with them for any other purpose.

Protection of Ourselves and Others. We may use and share the information we gather to enforce our rights and protect our property and those of our affiliates, customers and members of the public, to comply with applicable law, legal process, legal advice and for preventing fraud, theft, and injury to you, us or others. The processing of the Information you provide may be performed by ANI employees, agents, contractors and representatives for the purpose of implementing, administering and managing the Tournaments.

5. CONSENT; OPT-OUT; CHOICES YOU HAVE REGARDING YOUR INFORMATION

In addition to consenting to the Ticket Policy, the Website Privacy Statement, and this Supplemental Privacy Policy, you consent to uses and disclosures of Personally Identifiable Information in furtherance of our operations and programs, as described below.

Consent to Share and Disclose Personally Identifiable Information, Including Data Transfers Internationally, and to the Retention, Collection, and Processing of Personally Identifiable Information. You consent to us processing and sharing Personally Identifiable Information within the ANI organization, including our subsidiaries and affiliates. You consent to us sharing information with our Outside Contractors that provide support services to us (as described above). You specifically agree that ANI and ANI's Outside Contractors may collect RFID information about the location of Tickets in and around ANI property. You consent to ANI using the information you provide, and it collects, to assist in the implementation, administration and management of the Tournaments. We may share information within the ANI organization, including our subsidiaries and affiliates. We may also share information with companies that provide support services to us (such as credit card processors, mailing houses, web hosts, technical support providers, fulfillment centers, or other services or for enforcing or investigating transactions or business operations). These companies may need information about you in order to perform their functions. You agree that ANI and our service providers and business partners who help us provide the Site or our apps and their features may process and store personal information outside of the country where you reside (including processing and storage in the United States) , which may not provide the same level of legal data protection as the country from which you access this Site. By using this Site, you consent to such processing by ANI of such information as described in this Supplemental Privacy Policy.

Consent to Electronic Notice If There is a Security Breach. If we or a Recipient is required to provide notice of unauthorized access or other invasion of certain security systems, you agree that we (or they) may do so when required (or voluntarily) by posting a notice on our Site and by sending out a notice by mail or by email to any address(es) we have for you, in our (or their) good faith discretion. You agree that notice to you will count as notice to others for whom you are acting, and agree to pass the notice on to them.

Opt Out. However, withdrawing your consent as set forth herein will result in the ineligibility to receive Tickets, revocation of your existing Tickets, and denial of your Ticket Application.

6. SECURITY

ANI takes efforts to safeguard your Personally Identifiable Information, but this is not a promise that your information will never be disclosed except as provided herein. The nature of the Internet is such that information may be transmitted over networks without appropriate security measures and may be accessed, deleted, altered, used or disclosed by unauthorized persons. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE SECURITY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION OR OTHER INFORMATION IN ANY FORM. Information can sometimes be intercepted or accessed in violation of law, contract, or policy, and technologies do not always work as anticipated.

Because of the international nature of the Internet, your Personally Identifiable Information may, subject to applicable law, be collected or processed outside the country where you reside if you interact with ANI for the purposes described above via our Site. This may mean that Personally Identifiable Information is processed in the United States, where the server for this Site is located.

You may limit and control the information provided to us in a number of ways. However, doing so may limit your ability to apply for or use Tickets.

If you request, we will provide you with the opportunity to object to and correct any inaccurate information we maintain about you, subject to verification, as well as to require us to delete your Personally Identifiable Information if you no longer want us to maintain or process it. Any such request may be added to your data file and forwarded to data Recipients where appropriate or requested by you. You may also request that your data not be shared with any third parties. Such requests may be made by contacting us in accordance with this section.

8. UPDATES TO THIS SUPPLEMENTAL PRIVACY POLICY

When we make material changes to this Notice, we will update our Site, provide the updated policy through mail or email at the address you provided on your Ticket application, and change the Effective Date listed above.
